JRC-Malta Round Table Event

The Malta Council for Science & Technology (MCST), as the national contact organisation for the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), organized a one-day Round Table Event on the 27th October 2006 in collaboration with the Joint Research Centre (http://www.jrc.cec.eu.int). This was a high-level meeting that involved the participation of the Director General of the JRC, Officials representing the various JRC Research Institutes located in Europe and directors and key players from Government and Research Entities in Malta.

The goal of the event was for Malta to flag those priority Science & Technology research areas that are of interest locally and that could trigger concrete ideas for new and consolidated collaborations with the JRC, through co-operation within networks and initiatives for joint projects.
