FP7 - INCO RoK Briefing Session

INCO RoK Briefing Session

The Seventh Framework Programme is the key financial tool for supporting Research and Innovation at the European Level with the purpose of integrating Europe’s research capacities, creating jobs and improving competitiveness in line with the Lisbon Agenda. The EU has allocated approximately Euro 52.5 billion for FP7, making it one of the EU’s major funding programme for the period 2007-2013.

Following the successful National launch of the programme, MCST is organising a series of briefing sessions on key sub-programmes of FP7. This will promote more qualitative and effective participation in the Framework Programme. The first session will combine three key sub-programmes, INCO, RoK and REGPOT.

Malta has participated strongly in INCO in FP6 and we aim to transfer this experience to the RoK and REGPOT programmes which provide support for enhancing the research potential in new member states and transition countries and regions.
