The Malta Council for Science and Technology will be organising a full day seminar on research opportunities in the current calls in Health and Food, Agriculture, Fisheries & Biotechnology within the Seventh Framework Programme.  The event will be held at the MCST offices at Villa Bighi, Kalkara on the 25th September from 8.45 till 16:00hrs, with registration commencing at 8:45.  Speakers from the European Commission, DG RTD, include: Dr. Joana Namorada who will be explaining the topics and structure of the Health call and Dr. Piero Venturi, who will tackle the Food, Agriculture, Fisheries & Biotechnology call.

 

Other speakers will outline the general content of FP7 and explain how MCST offers assistance to interested stakeholders regarding the process of participation and proposal submission as well as any other relevant information concerning the calls.

 

A slot will also be dedicated to discussing the Biorefinery Joint Call with the themes of Energy, Environment and Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Material and New Production Technologies.

 

This event should be of particular interest to:

  • University

  • Other interested stakeholders
